‘Godless People’ is often used as a derogatory term. It is reason enough for some people to hate, fear, wonder and be amazed (as if on display in a freak show) by those whom they know or think of as godless. I recently read that some scientists and mathematicians consider our universe to be the equivalent of someone’s (some thing’s?) computer program (nicely described in Ray Kurzweil’s ‘The Singularity is Near‘). So maybe there is a ‘God’ or rather a ‘god’ after all!
Whatever the case, godlessness is an invitation for the inquisitive mind to journey uninterrupted.
